Ed Paskey on CBS' 48 Hours Mysteries
Edward A. Paskey, Esquire, a shareholder of the firm, recently appeared in CBS' 48 Hours Mysteries. The episode examined the investigation and prosecution of William Babner and the heinous crimes he committed in York County in 2001. Ed and York County District Attorney H. Stanley Rebert successfully prosecuted the case and secured the longest sentence in a non-homicide case (at that time) in the history of York County, 117 ½ to 235 years in a state correctional institution. Most importantly, the episode appropriately portrayed the individuals subjected to Babner's madness not as victims of a crime, but as survivors and truly inspirational people.
